BIO
Emily O’Neal began performing in her local community in North Florida and writing songs at age 13. She immediately fell in love with the process of songwriting and it became an outlet for expressing her emotions.
She has opened for pop singer Olivia O'Brien, played a sold out show at the Bluebird Cafe, and was a 2021 BMI John Lennon Scholarship winner for her single Paint Me. She was also a Finalist for the 2024 American Songwriter Song Contest.
Emily began releasing her first original songs in 2020, which she made with producers Lucio Rubino and Dexter Redding.
She released her debut EP Otherworldly in 2021 and features her single Villain. Villain has been labeled a "crowd hit" and has had organic success through TikTok and Instagram.
Her debut album Bird's Eye View was released on May 24th, with a vinyl release in June, and had 4 singles leading up to it's release including, Watercolor, Moonbeam, Terms & Conditions, and I Got The Message.
Emily's live shows display her unique sound, incorporating both pop and rock elements. Her set is dynamic and engaging, ranging from high energy full band tracks to stripped-down acoustic moments, while sharing stories and connecting to the audience between songs.
Emily graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2023 and continues to create new music and perform in the Nashville area.
